I was stationed at Camp Ross, just a
few miles south of Munsan-ni-not far from the DMZ. You can
see that Panmunjom is just north of there a little bit

Obviously they were doing some
upgrades, long after I was gone.

referred to as the MSR-main supply route. The only paved
road to Seoul at that time.
