My Mother's Sewing Machine

This sewing machine was purchased in the 1950s and was used frequently in our household. With six children she made many of our clothes and well as all the patching.

When my mother passed away in 1992, my sister, Linda, was the receipent of the sewing machine, as she was the one that had the talent of sewing.

When my sister died in 2003, her daughter, Julie, inherited the sewing machine. In September of 2014, while my sister, Carolyn, was visiting Julie, I asked her to take some pictures so that I might have a record of it. Below are the pictures she provided to me.
