My 2nd cousin Jeannie Stephenson Stinson put me in touch with Ed Barnes who had a relationship with our family in North Carolina.  I got in contact with Ed in the early 2000s and he sent me the following information.  In recent times (2025 Los Angeles fires) I've become concerned with fires and the destruction of all of the information that I have collected.  So in order to preserve it I have started digitizing as much as I can.  Below is some information that Ed Barnes shared with me.
