When I was a small child growing up my dad had a special drink that he would make for me from time to time. We had plenty of milk, cream, and eggs on the farm. We had our own cows that were milked twice each day. My mother would take the cream that would rise to the top of the milk and frequently make it into butter. Of course our chickens ran all about the farm. It was my job to gather the eggs every evening from the hen house. Consequently, we had most of the ingredients to make this most delicious drink. Frequently, my dad would pour milk into a glass until it was about half full, then add two raw eggs. He then topped it off with cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. We moved off that farm in 1958, and I have no recollection of ever having another Country Bill drink.
