Hi Jenk,
This is Jared, Maurice's son. I happened across your site the other day. I think it's great what you've gathered together! I had no idea that our family went back that far! I plan on going through the entire site over the holidays. I'm really excited! I am very interested in genealogy too. I've actually tried to trace the Stanley history. I've only been able to get as far as my great-great grandpa. However, I can't seem to find anything of real substance on him other than birth and death dates. What advice would you give someone trying to get started?
I saw that you had a listing for both Jill and I. I just want give you some additional info on our families so that you could update your records.
I married Tristica Brooke Martin (of Woodrow, TX) June 14th 2003 in Lubbock, TX. She is the 2nd daughter (3rd child) of Bob and Marsha Gale Martin of Woodrow. We have a daughter named Kaitlyn Michelle Stanley. She was born March 12th, 2006 in Lubbock, TX. We are also expecting a son in April 2010. As of right now his name will be Thomas Browning Stanley. He will also be born in Lubbock.
Jill married Lonnie Hernandez of Denver City. I'm not sure of the date, sometime in 2005. They're now divorced so I'm not sure that even matters. They have a son named Jaden Rylee Hernandez born October 11th 2005 in Lubbock TX. They also have a daughter named Kaylee Alyssa Hernandez. She was born November 19th 2007 in Lubbock TX.
