Chad Fuson

Chad Wayne Fuson, age 43, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Odessa.

Chad was born November 28, 1969 in Sidney, Montana to Robert and Vicki Fuson. He attended school from Kindergarten through high school in Tioga, North Dakota, graduating in 1988. In high school he enjoyed football and wrestling.

In 1989, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He completed basic training and AIT at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was stationed in Hanau, Germany as a mechanic. He was honorably discharged in 1992.

He returned to the Tioga area where he worked in the oil patch and with Industrial Builders in North Dakota. He then went to work for M&M Grouting where he traveled the U.S. working and also the Virgin Islands, and Denison, Texas where he met Barbara Baldridge and to this relationship he became a father to Dakota Cheyenne. At the time of his death he was working for Rockwater.

He later moved to Odessa, Texas where he met his future wife, love of his life and best friend, Jaime Tull. They were married July 5, 2007.

Chad's passion was his children and friends. He loved the outdoors and playing cards and reading.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patrick and Lois Reynolds, Merle Golden, Elsie and William Schaible and Carlie Moe; also, uncles, Gary Reynolds and Tommy Reynolds.

Chad is survived by his wife, Jaime of Odessa; daughter, Dakota; son, Justen Wayne; two foster sons, Cayden and Dalton Tull. He is also survived by his sister, Kelli Jo of Williston, N.D. and her daughter, Kaitlyn; brother, Sean (Rhonda), Chance, Becca and Ethan of Tioga, N.D.; brother, Robbie (Gina) and Carter; parents, Bob and Vicki Fuson of Tioga. He is also survived by Art Schaible of Jamestown, N.D. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
