Jenk Stephenson's Grandfather

I had just turned 14 when my grandfather died of cancer. Because we didn't live so close we didn't see him often, so my memory of my grandfather is limited. I remember him as a tall (don't know how tall) and slender. My best Christmas ever was visiting him as a child--the year I received a wind-up train set with an engine and three train cars. I don't have a clear memory of personal interaction with him. My grandfather was a farmer but never owned any land, he was share cropper during his lifetime. I've collected whatever I could find about him in the table below. The items are in no certain order, more or less as I found them. He was often referred to as JB Rich or Jodie Rich.

Aunt Bunk and Lydia were sisters
Hico, Texas
Uncle Aubry was my grandfather's brother and I saw him several times. It appears they were living near Hico, Texas at this time, even if my mother was born on the Bradford farm in Glen, Texas which was near Afton.
