Nathan Fendley

Services for Nathan Fendley, 68, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2010, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Blanks officiating. Burial will follow in White Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m., today, September 9, 2010. Mr. Fendley passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010, in Longview.

Mr. Fendley was born in Afton, Texas, on June 14, 1942, to Carmie and Annie Grace Fendley. He was an avid karaoke singer, attended First Christian Church in Kilgore, and was employed at Genpak L.L.C. in Longview. Mr. Fendley was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Melinda Herrera.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl Tover of Longview, Lynette and Vincente Reyes of Longview, and Michelle and Raul Martinez of Longview; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Katherine Fendley of Arkansas; two nephews; one niece; girlfriend, Joeann Knight of Kilgore; and his little dog, Lu Lu.
