Nina Mae Ricks Interview 9/25/2000- She lived with Mr. and Mrs Ricks for about a year after she married Lloyd . She recalled that all the boys were mighty nice to her. She mentioned that Mr. Ricks was among the first in the community to have a telephone (the old hand crank style). Mrs. Rick was always the first to answer the phone when it rang. Their phone would ring whenever any other party received a call. The phone became a way that she could keep with all the news in the neighborhood.
