Gail Mauck
Veronica “Gail” Mauck, 44, was called to heaven on Monday September 9, 2013. Gail was born to William and Phyllis Rich on August 12, 1969 in Odessa, Texas. She married the love of her life, Floyd Mauck, on March 1, 2004 in Crane, Texas yet they spent 28 wonderful years together. Gail worked at Walmart as a remodeler.
Gail was a very beautiful woman. She was a great mom, great provider and a loving wife. She considered her family to be her world. Gail helped everyone and never shut the doors on anyone just like her daddy. She graduated cosmetology school in Crane where she received her cosmetology license. She loved doing hair and everyone loved to go to her for their hair cuts. She had a great personality and everyone that knew her loved her dearly. She loved babies and enjoyed life. Her husband Floyd called her “My Love”. The greatest gift Gail gave to Floyd was their two beautiful sons. She will be greatly missed by all of those who met and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband: Floyd Mauck of Odessa; mother: Phyllis Sue West of Brownwood; two sons: Allen Lee Mauck and Tyler Cole Mauck both of Odessa; brother: Glenn Franklin Rich and wife Mary Ann of Odessa; sisters: Debbie Dunagin and husband Buddy of Odessa, Kay Carroll of Odessa and husband Curtis Carroll of Aubrey, and Kim Bailey and husband Roy Don Bohannon of Odessa: numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and a host of friends.
Gail is preceded in death by her brother: Larry Douglas Rich and father: William Franklin Rich.
Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Heights Baptist Church located at 2401 West 16th Street in Odessa on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:00 am, officiated by Brother Jess Little. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University, Odessa, Texas.
